I am a lecturer and researcher at Birmingham City University School of Media, with a particular interest in web & new media, social media, and alternative and independent media. Prior to joining BCU, I have eight years in industry running a design agency. I am Chair of Sutton Festival of Arts, which is currently preparing for its second annual festival in July 2009. I am involved in a number of community based media skills training initiatives across North Birmingham.
