Marlon Parker is an academic and social entrepreneur from South Africa. He works with social media, finding ways to use technology for social good. PC based Internet penetration is relatively low in South Africa, so his work focuses on the use of mobile internet and text messages. Below he demonstrates the use of mobile phone technology in drug rehabilitation.
